WHY INVEST IN CRITICAL METALS?

Critical metals are a group of metals that are essential for a wide range of industries, including electronics, aerospace, defense, renewable energy, and transportation. The governments of the U.S. and Canada, have designated zinc and tungsten as critical minerals since they are essential to the countries' economies, but their supply is limited or subject to geopolitical risks.

CRITICAL METALS MARKET

China's dominance in these critical minerals has caused concern among other governments, including the U.S. and Canada, which have designated them as "critical minerals". This has led to efforts to increase domestic production and reduce dependence on Chinese imports, including investment in mining and exploration, as well as partnerships with other countries to diversify supply chains.

THE FOCUS ON ZINC & TUNGSTEN

Zinc

Zinc

Zinc is a vital infrastructure metal, used to galvanize and protect steel in bridges, buildings, off-shore wind farms and more.

Tungsten

Tungsten

Tungsten is a strong, durable and rare metal used in the defence and aerospace industries, and for equipment and tools.

Investing in mining and exploration for critical metals such as zinc and tungsten can be a smart choice, especially as the demand for these metals continues to grow in high-tech and green technology applications. Zinc is a vital component for many industrial applications, while tungsten is highly sought after for the unique properties that make it ideal for use in high-tech, aerospace, and defense applications. Investing in critical metals can help diversify investment portfolios and provide exposure to the growing demand for high-tech, green technologies as well as other industries. Fireweed Metals is advancing two of the largest undeveloped critical metals projects in Canada, which offer unique investment opportunities in this growing sector.

ABOUT FIREWEED METALS

Fireweed Metals is expanding one of the world’s largest undeveloped high-grade zinc projects at its Macmillan Pass critical metals district in Canada's Yukon. Fireweed is currently planning its largest drill program yet. New discoveries at Macpass will shape a resource update expected in Q4 2023.

Just across the NWT-Yukon border, Fireweed’s Mactung deposit is one of the world’s largest high-grade tungsten deposits outside of China. A resource update is expected in Q2 2023.

  • Projects located in mining-friendly Yukon and Northwest Territories
  • Macmillan Pass Zinc-Lead-Silver project is a clear standout - scale, economics, and upside potential.
  • Updated resource estimate coming soon for both projects! So make sure to stay tuned!
